This is no cubby hole, the iPod actually docks, plays and charges using the connector on the bottom of your iPod. The CA-IP500 ships with a multitude of docking sleeves to ensure your iPod fits and locks inside.
The rotary encoder replicates the click-wheel of an iPod, allowing simple, high-speed control through a fully integrated iPod user interface including full function searches and shuffle/repeat facilities.
